Spend 2-3 hours taking in the panoramic views of Saranda and the surrounding coastline while sipping on refreshing drinks. The magical ambiance of the castle at night provides a perfect setting for a memorable evening. Enjoy the enchanting atmosphere and take in the stunning scenery as the sun sets. Day 7: Discover Butrint and Gjirokaster, Return to Tirana

On the last day of your tour, we will set off towards the archeological site of Butrint, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our local guide, who will take you on a journey through the rich history of this ancient Roman-era site. Explore the well-preserved ruins of this historic city, wandering through the archaeological site and immersing yourself in its rich history and stunning natural beauty. After our visit to Butrint, we will continue to the charming town of Gjirokaster. Known as the "City of Stone," Gjirokaster is another UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its unique Ottoman-era architecture. Spend some time exploring the old town, visiting the Gjirokaster Castle, and strolling through the cobbled streets. You can enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants, savoring the traditional flavors of the region. In the late afternoon, we will make our way back to Tirana. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening reflecting on the incredible experiences of your South Albania tour. Overnight stay in Tirana. (B)

Day 8: Departure

On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel in Tirana. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time to explore the city a bit more or do some last-minute shopping. Albania experiences a Mediterranean climate along its coast and a continental climate inland. The dry, hot season lasts from May to October, with summer temperatures reaching up to 38°C or higher. If sightseeing is included during this period, efforts will be made to avoid the heat of the day. Night temperatures can drop significantly as the day’s heat diminishes. In winter (December to January), temperatures during the day are around 18-25°C, dropping to 0-5°C at night. Snow can be expected in the mountains, and it can be wet.
